THE PERFECT SOCIETY

THE PERFECT SOCIETY PT 1

One of the main rules of TS, The Society, is to never ever leave. Yet its not like we had a choice if we wanted to. There's no planes, trains, boats, or automobiles at all. The TS is on an island down in the Atlantic Ocean so we can't run away.

That is one of the rules along with a huge book of others along with, ALWAYS obey, don't do anything imperfect, no missing a day of school or you will make it up with two, and never go past the bounds. If you break any of these rules it will result in going to the room.

The room is where you are forced to stay in a sound proof room where the only sound is the book of rules repeating over. It can drive a man crazy. I should know. I've been there seven times counting. Yet luckily I'm only twelve, not old enough to go the prison But in a week I'll be old enough and the second I turn thirteen I will have to leave my entire family. Normally, I would go for a few days but since I've gone more then five times... You get the point.

Apparently its horrible to stay in there for just a few hours. Rats scurry along the floor and bugs crawl in the hay. On the wall theirs a old slab of stone that you can lay upon. How do I know all of this? The older kids in school that have gone there for a few days have told us. Now nearly everyone knows about it. The little kids probably have nightmares.

That's why I'm leaving, or trying to anyways. I'll feel bad for my family. But I'm not going to sit here for a week and wait for my future to be decided by a madman.

I packed up my bags and began walking across town trying to go at a leisurely pace to not cause any alarm. I know that if anyone catches me I'll be in huge trouble. Maybe I'll even get a early trip to the prison.

I continued walking along the roads trying to calm my nerves. It won't help if I can't stop shaking. Finally I could see the patch of woods and bushes that would lead me to the small beach. After that I would hide for a day or two, try to make a makeshift boat, gather some water, food and leave. About halfway through the woods is the boundaries. I'm not sure if there are guards at the edge. I really hope not.

As soon as I'm almost at the edge of the woods I hear a strong, loud voice. "What are you doing young lady? Your missing school, get over here!" Its a guard. 'RUNRUNRUN!' My brain screams at me so I obey and I run as fast as possible away from the guard. Sadly, he gestures to some other guards to follow me and they chase me. There catching up on me when I burst through the woods. Maybe I can lose them on the beach?

As soon as I'm almost to the boarder I see something terrifying. There are guards on the boarder, and their looking, for me.

THE DARK REFLECTION

THE DARK REFLECTION RITUAL PART 1

If you ever want to play a game, play Candy land or Monopoly, just never play The Dark Reflection Ritual. I'm twenty nine years old and the experience still haunts me. Here's why I beg you to not play.

Exactly thirteen years ago my friends and I  decided to play it at a sleepover, the parents were on a business trip so we didn't have to worry about them.  Besides me there were three other girls who wanted to play, my best friends. The ringleader of the group {Which sadly wasn't me.} explained how to play. I could tell all of us were wary but no one dared speak up. Its not that she would force us to its just that at the time she was the popular one and we were her little puppets. Maybe we made ourselves think that it was just a game and nothing could happen...

We started at twelve a clock on the dot, and the ringleader {I don't care anymore to keep calling her that. Since she didn't meet my lucky fate I will just use her real name, which is Samantha}, grabbed a mirror and began the game. We all took turns looking at the mirror and stared at ourselves focusing on the negative energy between our reflection and ourselves then we were told to breath on it so it fogs up. Already I began to be shaken up. As I was looking at myself I got goosebumps along my arms, but when I breathed on it I felt a small shock near my temple.

After we all had done the steps Samantha lit a candle near the mirror and we waited until it burnt park of the glass and then I blew it out. Not Samantha. Samantha was to busy getting a dictionary. Then, everyone except for her scooted back as she threw the dictionary into the mirror, causing it to shatter into a thousand tiny pieces flying every direction. Then, the curtains parted revealing a full moon that shone brightly, making all of the glass shards glitter brightly.

All of us stood breathless waiting until one of us had enough courage to talk. Then, Samantha said/yelled that we had to evacuate the area immediately so we all rushed to the living room. At that time my heart was pounding with fear. Samantha told us to be careful because bad luck was going to be coming. Such bad luck that we could die.
